How it Ships

While we pride ourselves on low free shipping thresholds to most of the planet, what we really stand for is minimal packaging.

Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.

Materials

The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Our base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.

Can't stop showing it off and amazing customer support
I love this case. I've successfully sold friends on pela cases with this compostable beaut.
I had it for 5ish months when a part of the edge started peeling off of the back of the case. When it started to get noticeably worse, I reached out to pela's customer service and in just a few hours, they sent a new one my way. Couldn't be happier.

Gorgeous
I’ve got the purple iphone and was afraid that it wouldn’t be the same shade. But it is and looks amazing. The case is also not slippery which is a big plus. Overall i’m really happy with my purchase and will for sure buy more pela cases.
